The Artisan Culture of Nepal: A Rich Heritage of Handicrafts

However, in the mid-20th century, a growing movement for democracy and constitutional monarchy led to a peaceful transition of power and the establishment of the modern and democratic Nepalese state.

At the heart of Nepalese culture lies the artisan handicraft tradition, where the creation of beautiful, handmade crafts has been an integral part of daily life for thousands of years.
